DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Creating a successful and effective presence on the Internet takes a combination of dynamic programming, quality content, distinctive design, and technical functionality. Heidiprice takes the time to clearly identify and understand our client’s goals and objectives, enabling us to develop a web presence unique to your business or organization.
Our main goal is to create long-term relationships that ensure our clients' success, which in turn guarantees our own success.

1) Initial Consultation
Meeting with our clients to learn about their business or organization is imperative. During the initial meeting we will discuss goals and strategies for the site, target audience, timelines for completion, basic site structure, and any budget constraints, amongst other considerations.

2) Site Proposal
After learning imperative details during the consultation, our team will then prepare a formal proposal. This proposal gives you a clear understanding of what we plan to create for your website presence - basic content, design, and technical functions.

3) Content Collation
Once a proposal is accepted, and a contract has been signed, we will deliver a checklist. Those involved in supplying images, text content, forms, etc for the website will receive the specified dates when the information is due in order to stay within the timeline of the desired launch date.

4) Design & Development
Once the Heidiprice staff have received the necessary information from our client such as forms, text, and images, we enter the design and development stage of the website. The basic design dictates how appealing your website will be. However, a site won't be successful unless it is user friendly. Clear navigation is imperative for ease of use. Both an attractive design and functionality are of utmost importance. When we build websites we focus on function first and design second.

5) Review & Test
After we have tested the website in house, we make an appointment with you to review your new website. During this time we receive feedback on any modifications you may want us to make prior to the official launch of the website.

6) Hosting Set-up
Whether you choose to host your site through Heidiprice or another hosting company, we can co-ordinate the establishment (or update) of your hosting details.

7) Launch
After your final review and approval of the site, including any changes that were made, your new website is finished and placed live on the internet.

8) Management
We now progress to the management of your site. This stage includes regular reviews of content, link checking, updates, and additional pages where necessary.
